Boomeco Limited was founded by Oliver Latter after graduating from the Royal Agricultural College in 2000. Apart from a brief spell in a not for profit organisation that promoted the view that waste was a resource, Oliver has always worked or been envolved in the timber and wood residue industry. Today we are one of the leading resource recovery companies in the UK. We specialise in sourcing and finding markets residues, specialisng in wood.

The company started by manufacturing high grade peat alternative growing media in Somerset for one of the biggest peat processors in the country. From this enterprise, we were being offered increasing amounts of wood residues, which were exceeding the quantity requirements for our growing media operation. From this we developed other markets for the material, including the amenity, equine and bio-filter markets.

Today Boomeco has varied contracts in different markets both in the United Kingodm and Northern Europe. These include major electricty generators, particle board mills, growing media, equine market, briquetting and pelleting plants and the amenity markets to name a few. We have a second to none network of suppliers and hauliers nationwide where we have a reputation for quality, consistency, honesty and reliability. We pride ourselves on being able to source nearly any material required. Our marketing success has already been recognised in Europe and overseas resulting in regular offers of assorted biomass. We have a very experienced resource of knowledge. We have advised on new and existing projects especially where processing equipment is required. This includes the virgin and wood recycling industry, as well as composting advisory. We also organise logistics for many varied customers.
